Job Summary

Shift Managers lead shifts at independently owned and operated McDonald’s restaurants, ensuring great Quality, Service, and Cleanliness for customers. Opportunities for growth and advancement exist within the franchisee organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience
• Provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift
• Plan for each shift, monitor performance, and take action to ensure team meets McDonald’s standards
• Maintain safety, security, and profitability
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift
• Meet targets during shifts and assist in meeting department goals
• Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness
• Ensure quality food production and exceptional customer service
• Manage crew and handle food safety

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
• Positive team player with a flexible schedule
• Passion for working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager
