Cable Installation Technician
Responsibilities
- Installing and terminating Cat6 and coaxial cabling
- Cable racks, cabinets, and faceplates
- Testing and labeling cables
- Assisting with the installation of cable boxes, modems, and satellite equipment
- Serving as part of server closet buildouts and network infrastructure setups
- Supporting trenching and directional drilling as needed
- Following direction from project leads and adhering to site safety standards
Required Skills
- Cable installation and routing
- Cable termination
- Low voltage systems
- Cat5/Cat6 cabling
- Punch-downs
- Electrical installation experience
- Wireless access point installation
- Testing and troubleshooting

About the Role
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ames, IA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits available for this temporary role may include the following:
