Cable Assembler II

About the role

The Cable Assembler – Level II position at Amphenol PCD is responsible for assembling cable products according to customer drawings and specifications. This role also involves additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Build cable assemblies to meet customer drawings and specifications.
• Follow manufacturing instructions and maintain quality standards throughout the assembly process.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in cable assembly and manufacturing.
• Soldering skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and understand English instructions and technical drawings.
• Ability to measure in inches and increments of inches.

Qualifications

• Required: 1-3 years of experience in cable assembly and manufacturing.
• Desired: Certification to IPC/WHMA-A-620J-STD soldering.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
• Medium work, including moving objects up to 50 lbs.
• Repetitive movement of hands, wrists, or fingers.
