Cabinet Technician/Installer/Finish Carpenter

About the role

Kitchen Tune-Up Bend Redmond is seeking a Cabinet Specialist / Cabinet Technician / Trim Carpenter / Cabinet Installer to join our team offering kitchen remodeling and cabinetry updates across Central Oregon and the surrounding communities. We offer unique custom products and services that are in strong demand with homeowners, including wood restoration, cabinet painting, cabinet re-dooring, cabinet refacing, and new custom cabinets.

Responsibilities

• Arrive to shop or jobsite on time in logo’d shirt and appropriate work clothing
• Follow instructions given by project manager
• Keep work area clean and orderly and clean up daily
• Keep track of tools and maintain job trailer/van organization
• Communicate with project manager daily about progress
• Work quickly and efficiently to minimize disruption to clients
• Restore wood cabinets in the home
• Paint cabinet doors and boxes
• Redoor and reface cabinets
• Install new custom cabinets

• Ability to drill for hinges
• Ability to install doors and drawer fronts
• Ability to install roll-out trays in cabinets
• Ability to safely operate power hand tools including: table saw, band saw, power hand saw, router, planer, and powered nail gun
• Ability to work in Bend, Redmond, Prineville and surrounding communities
• Professional and friendly interaction with customers
• Personal pride in a job well done the first time
• Valid driver’s license with a verifiable good driving record and no physical limitations to perform required tasks
• Ability to pass a criminal background check

• Prior experience in painting cabinets
• Prior experience in cabinet resurfacing
• Prior experience in wood restoration
• Prior experience in cabinet refacing
• Prior experience in cutting moldings
• Ability to install crown molding

Schedule

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm; no weekends.

Pay

$19.00 – $29.00 per hour, based on experience.
