About the role
At Village Handcrafted Cabinetry, we believe the finish is what transforms exceptional craftsmanship into a beautiful final product. For more than 30 years, our family-owned company has built high-end custom cabinetry known for quality, attention to detail, and outstanding customer satisfaction. We are seeking an experienced Cabinet Finisher to join our team in Lansdale, PA.
Responsibilities
- Apply spray, stain, paint, toner, and glaze finishes to cabinetry and wood products using a variety of finishing techniques
- Prepare surfaces by sanding, masking, taping, and priming prior to finishing
- Interpret finish samples and reproduce consistent color-matched results
- Perform color matching, glazing, distressing, and other decorative finishing techniques
- Operate, maintain, and clean spray equipment and finishing tools
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality, consistency, and color accuracy
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe finishing environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality standards
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous cabinet finishing, furniture finishing, millwork finishing, or related wood finishing experience strongly preferred
- Experience spraying, staining, toning, and glazing cabinetry, millwork, furniture, or other wood products
- Strong paint, stain, and glaze finishing experience required
- Experience color matching and reproducing custom finish samples
- Proficient in operating and maintaining professional spray equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. multiple times per day
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to maintain quality standards while meeting production deadlines
- Ability to wear respiratory protection and PPE for extended periods while spraying finishes
- This position may require annual respiratory fit test
