Cabinet Maker

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings to construct custom cabinets.
• Perform precise milling of wood stock and face frame construction.
• Assemble cabinets, doors, and drawer boxes with accuracy and efficiency.
• Execute sanding, staining, and spray finishing techniques for high-quality surface preparation.
• Utilize CNC machining for precision woodworking tasks.
• Absorb light installation of cabinetry when required.
• Ensure proper handling and logistics for cabinet deliveries.
• Restore and refinish furniture as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to shop safety protocols.
• Continuously develop skills in cabinet construction, finishing, and installation techniques.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proficiency in woodworking, cabinetmaking, and finishing techniques.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Experience with CNC machining and precision milling.
• Knowledge of furniture restoration and custom fabrication.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Ability to problem-solve creatively and work efficiently under pressure.
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
