Cabinet Installer
About the role
Cabinet installers are responsible for assembling and installing kitchen and bathroom cabinets according to blueprints and customer specifications. This includes measuring, cutting, and attaching parts to ensure a precise fit.
Responsibilities
- Measure and cut materials to exact specifications
- Assemble cabinets using screws, nails, and adhesives
- Install cabinets in accordance with building codes and manufacturer guidelines
- Ensure all cabinets are level and securely fastened
- Handle and move heavy materials as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with carpentry tools and equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Knowledge of cabinet installation techniques and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
Skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
