  • Oversee and create retrofit engineering drawings with a focus on speed, quality, and cost optimization.
  • Determine, review, and specify exact parts kits required to support physical modification designs.
  • Maintain technical understanding of aircraft certification plan development and support formal certification processes for airworthiness compliance.
  • Provide direct technical support to on-site modification teams, including deployment to customer airlines or MRO facilities during embodiment.
  • Resolve technical queries arising during and after delivery of engineering work instructions and kit shipments.
  • Perform other operational and engineering duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aeronautic, Civil, or Electrical); minimum 3 years of engineering experience, OR Master’s degree with minimum 2 years of engineering experience.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Direct exposure to project or program engineering methodologies.
  • Proven ability to create, interpret, and review designs using industry-standard CAD tools (e.g., CATIA).
  • General knowledge of the Service Bulletin production process; ability to read, interpret, and cross-reference SBs, Bills of Materials (BOM), and customer modification requirements.
  • Highly proficient in Google Workspace/Google Suite for documentation and project tracking.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of technical aircraft topics and build/maintain a global internal network.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and organization skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of project management to assess stakeholder impact and make optimal decisions for the project.
  • Proven ability to synthesize data from varied sources to develop innovative risk-mitigation approaches.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Airline, MRO, or aircraft cabin-related experience.
  • Python or other programming language experience.
  • Practical experience in airline, hangar, or MRO environments.
  • Professional Project Management Certification (PMP).
  • Experience with Illustrated Parts Catalogs (IPC) and ATA Technical Manuals (AMM, SRM, etc.).
