Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lift and carry cleaning equipment, cleaning trays, and cases of supplies to service the aircraft.
- In a timely manner, clean passenger seating, vacuum floors, and wipe down tray tables so the aircraft is free of debris.
- Perform aircraft security inspection to comply with government and Company security requirements.
- Conduct a visual inspection of the aircraft to ensure no items are left on board.
- Return items left by passengers or crew members to the appropriate authority.
- Mop galleys of aircraft and dispose of trash in designated dumpsters.
- Restock magazines, Safety information cards, and other supplies on the aircraft.
- Clean aircraft lavatories and empty waste receptacles.
- Load supplies onto the cabin service truck and return unused supplies to the designated area.
- Ensure the cabin service supply room is kept in an organized and neat manner.
- Check inventory to ensure there is an adequate supply of items needed to service aircraft.
- Drive crew members to each aircraft for cleaning.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Driver’s license is required.
- Must pass a criminal background check as well as a drug screen prior to employment.
- Must have schedule flexibility for the weekend, holiday, and night shifts.
- Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds in confined spaces.
- Must be able to stand, lift, bend, push, and pull for extended periods of time.
- Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather and elevated noise levels within the airport environment.
