Cab Sealer (CS) 1st Shift

Position Summary

Qualified individual will prepare parts prior to the painting operation. Inspects and preps parts for conformance. Tasks

Responsibilities

• Must be able to climb ladders and platforms.
• Inspects parts for potential defects, blemishes, etc. Make a clear and concise decision on what needs attention.
• Fix the areas that need attention by scrapping, sanding, etc.
• Use air, electric, and hand tools to apply and remove hardware from parts and assemblies.
• Seal and wipe required areas.
• Plug required areas.
• Prepare parts for top-coat painting.
• Re-inspect parts to ensure they are complete prior to releasing them to the paint operation.
• Must be able to read process sheets, blueprints, or other specifications to determine paint criteria.

Experience and Education

• High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
