CA Pharmacy Manager, DL EL

Responsibilities

• Build upon skills and responsibilities as a Pharmacy Manager and prepare for promotion to a Pharmacy District Leader (Rx DL).
• Complete a self-paced, collaborative training roadmap with virtual and hands-on learning experiences.
• Continue to support your home store as a Pharmacy Manager.
• Lead and develop a pharmacy team that provides exceptional patient care.
• Manage and improve patient health through safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Support novel program awareness, onboard newly hired pharmacy team members, and recognize colleagues for their success.
• Manage pharmacy team during bench shifts, strengthen pharmacy performance measures, and coach pharmacy team members.
• Ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, comply with workflow procedures, and utilize safety guardrails at every workstation.
• Show empathy and genuine care, coach the pharmacy team, and proactively resolve insurance and/or medication issues.
• Offer and deliver immunizations, engage and support Pharmacy Technicians to learn to immunize, and ensure proper inventory management.
• Maintain a healthy talent pipeline, ensure cross-trained colleagues are on-track for training and licensure, and manage Staff Pharmacists and District Support Pharmacists.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and engaging team dynamic, write or delegate pharmacy schedules, and review business reporting for operational insights.
• Build a culture of safety, empowerment, and inclusion, and maintain relevant clinical and technical skills.
• Comply with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical principles, and maintain a safe and inclusive workplace for colleagues.
• Participate in the District Leader Emerging Leader program, including KLEs, leadership development workshops, and region meetings.
• Develop skills and competencies through an IDP to prepare for the District Leader role, including captainships, short-term Rx DL coverage, and stretch assignments.
• Display strong personal integrity and judgment, and manage highly-sensitive and/or highly-visible business matters.

Requirements

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.
• 2+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Manager.
• Graduate of DevelopU for Leaders and/or FFL in 2022 or later.
• Standard Performer or higher; Not on a Level 3 or active IAP within the last 6 months.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related work experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
• Previous experience in multi-unit leadership.
• Completion of the Pharmacy Manager Emerging Leader (PMEL) program.
• Preferred: Completion of the District Leader Emerging Leader (DL EL) program.

Benefits

The typical pay range for this role is $70.00 - $91.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. Our people fuel our future.
