Position Summary

The technician will utilize technical skills and adhere to policies and procedures to perform a variety of tasks. They will clearly communicate research procedures and results to support reports and contribute to team objectives. This role involves working on semi-routine assignments where the ability to identify deviations from standard practices is essential. The technician may also provide training and guidance to less experienced team members and offer input during performance evaluations. They will verify the accuracy and relevance of project work, make recommendations within limited discretion, and perform both standard and non-standard tasks under close supervision. Regular updates on work progress will be maintained with supervisors. This position requires a foundation of technical knowledge to execute routine tasks, operate basic equipment, and analyze data as specified.

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to operate standard equipment and follow established procedures.
• Basic understanding of applicable policies and practices.
• Strong communication skills to document and report research procedures and results.
• Demonstrated ability to perform routine data analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ongoing pursuit of relevant certifications or continuing education.
• Experience guiding or mentoring less experienced team members.
• Familiarity with structured enterprise problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, DMAIC, or similar frameworks).
