C4ISR FMV Technician
Join GDIT as a C4ISR FMV Technician/Journeyman (FMV FSR) and build an impactful career in enterprise IT, collaborating with people who are driven and resourceful like you.
About the Role
Implements, deploys, and documents C4ISR architectural solutions to bridge the gap between Service ISR CONOPs and CENTCOM CONEMPs. Develops, manages, and controls COMSEC short titles by all FDO generated caveats, in support of controlling access to all Full Motion Video (FMV) from CENTCOM allocated ISR Platforms. Responsible for all aspects of C4ISR Systems (design, configuration, deployment, and sustainment) solutions. Manages CENTCOM's FMV dissemination architecture across all networks (SIPR, SIPR REL, and CPN BiLats). Develops and manages the FMV dissemination solution for the transition of legacy CPN Bi-Lat's net-centric architecture to CPE's data-centric architecture.
Installs, deploys, and documents FMV Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) for ingest of coalition FMV, as well as sharing of U.S. FMV with mission partners. Supports coalition combined collection operations, CONOPS and battlespace transits through the dissemination of allocated ISR derived FMV. Maintains current deployed video dissemination devices in AOR that are critical to maintaining continuous FMV COP. Regularly liaises with JOC, JCCC, CCJ2 C4ISR section, all AOR affiliated external organizations, including but not limited to Components, JTFs, and all other OGA entities in order to support the Command's ISR requirements.
Continues to stay linked in and anticipates any new and emergent technologies. Implements, documents, and deploys ISR C2 solutions (Line of Sight (LOS), and Beyond Line of Sight (BLOS) for U.S. and mission partner platforms.
