Responsibilities
- Perform system installations in accordance with Arizona C37 licensing requirements, NFPA standards, and project specifications.
- Install, inspect, test, and maintain fire protection systems, including fire sprinkler systems and related components.
- Cook up with electricians, low-voltage technicians, Foremen, and other trades to support integrated life-safety systems.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, shop drawings, and specifications.
- Maintain compliance with jobsite safety standards and fire safety regulations.
- Communicate progress, site conditions, and issues to project leadership.
- Identify and resolve installation issues, deficiencies, or punch-list items.
- Assist with system testing, commissioning, and inspections.
- Support material handling, staging, and equipment/tool organization.
- Participate in corrective work and system modifications as needed.
Qualifications
- Active Arizona C37 Fire Protection License (required).
- Experience working on commercial or industrial construction projects.
- Hands-on experience with fire sprinkler or fire protection systems.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA codes, fire protection standards, and jobsite safety.
- Ability to read and interpret construction and shop drawings.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a field environment.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience on large, multi-trade construction sites preferred.
Pay
$35-48/hr. DOE
