Compensation

  • $20-$23/hour
  • Exciting NEW Pay Incentives:
    • Attendance Incentive - Up to $2400 bonus for good attendance.
    • Referral Bonus - Up to $500 per referral.
    • Hiring Bonus - Up to $1000.
    • Step increase program - Pay will increase by $.50 after 90 days and again after 180 days (Material Handlers Only).
    • Certified/qualified Forklift/Walkie Rider/Cherry Picker drivers will receive an additional $0.50 p.hr.
    • Certified/qualified Reach Truck drivers will receive an additional $1.00 p.hr.

    Job Purpose

    The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for conducting cycle counts and bin location audits, assisting in researching and reconciling inventory discrepancies, and working with the Inventory Supervisor/Manager in any inventory related functions.

    • Performs physical counts of inventory items in order to maintain accurate inventory.
    • Counts and reconciles randomly chosen or chosen part numbers and/or locations on a daily basis.
    • Accurately inputs inventory control data to ensure inventory integrity.
    • Completes necessary documentation thoroughly, accurately, and on time.
    • Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies.
    • Other tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager.
    • Spend 80% or more of the workday performing inventory related activities in the warehouse using an RF Gun or Tablet.
    • 20% or less of the workday is spent working at a computer terminal.
    • Clerks are required to travel to and assist at other facilities as needed.

    Additional Responsibilities

    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
    • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
    • Ensures compliance with inventory processes and procedures, and contractual obligations.
    • Ability to physically count articles or products on shelves, racks and pallets.
    • Utilize computer terminals to properly account for inventory issues, returns, and documentation.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 1-3 months related experience and/or training in Inventory Control.
    • Minimum 1-3 months related experience and/or training in warehouse environment.
    • Experience operating power equipment is required, such as Reach Truck, EPJ and or cherry picker/order picker.
    • Experience using WMS software a plus (Synapse preferred).
    • PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Access Database.
    • High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency.
    • Ability to read and write emails.
    • Ability to physically count articles or products on shelves, racks and pallets.
    • Forklift certification a plus.
