Location: James Madison K-8 STEAM Academy
About the role
This person will work closely with the head coach supporting their plan. They will also be in charge of running their own aspects of practice given the skill they are assigned. Another aspect of their duties will be to supervise students until they have been picked up from practice and/or meets.
Responsibilities
- Organizing and supervising game help
- Assists with supervision at activities
- Supervises students until they have been picked up from practice and/or meets
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- CPR certification
- CHSAA test and regulation Concussion Education
- Prior coaching experience in girls soccer
- Complete concussion training

- Bilingual skills

- Knowledge of Colorado and district content standards
- Leadership in meeting the social, emotional, psychological, and academic needs of students
- Flexibility and ability to deal with conflict
- High tolerance for stress
- Ability to quickly internalize information and make informed decisions
Work Environment / Physical Demands
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Visual, auditory, and ambulatory acuity important
- Occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds

Pay
Salary placement on the Co-Curricular Salary schedule depends on the sport, club, organization, or program and the employee’s in-district experience as outlined in Article XXIII of the Master Contract.
