C++ Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work with team members to identify the best solution for meeting business requirements
• Deliver high quality market logic normalization code and configuration
• Ensure bug-free software through automated regression testing, unit tests, and code reviews
• Collaborate with QA and Operations to ensure successful integration into test and production environments

Requirements

• Experience with the full life-cycle software development experience
• 2 years experience with C++
• Strong understanding of object-oriented development

Qualifications

• Solid C++ and object-oriented programming expertise
• Proactive problem-solving mindset
• Commitment to code quality through testing, reviews, and continuous improvement
• Contribute to system integration, support production environments, and stay adaptable to evolving technologies and market demands

Skills

• Experience developing on Linux
• Exposure to Agile methodologies
• Experience with automated testing
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Unix, or Powershell shell scripts)
• Experience with real-time programming
• Knowledge of/experience with design patterns
• A passion for continued learning and development
