Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field.
- 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 6 months of job-related experience.
- Active Department of Defense Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain one).
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Must be able to work onsite in Manassas, VA.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software for payload control systems.
- Implement and test networking protocols and socket programming.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and integrate software solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues to ensure optimal system performance.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of software development practices.
Qualifications
- Must Have:
- Proficiency in C++ programming.
- Experience with networking protocols and socket programming.
- Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.
- Nice to Have:
- Software development experience in a Linux environment.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with the QT Framework.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.
- Understanding of Submarine Warfare Federated Tactical Systems (SWFTS).
- Familiarity with Git version control system.
- Knowledge of submarine systems and operations.

Pay
Target salary range: USD $100,219.00/Yr. – USD $111,180.00/Yr.
Schedule
This position is fully on-site in Manassas, VA, with a 9/80 schedule option (every other Friday off).
