C.N.A. Day Shift

Welcome to Westminster Canterbury in Richmond, VA. We are currently seeking a C.N.A. for our Day Shift.

About the role

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to provide high-quality care to our residents while maintaining a positive and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications as prescribed by the healthcare team.
• Participate in scheduled rounds and assist with patient assessments.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of resident rooms and common areas.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care plans are implemented.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) from a recognized program.
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid Virginia driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Passing score on a background check.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $17.00 per hour.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
