C++ Developer

A leading proprietary trading firm, is seeking a C++ Developer to join its Global Hardware team.In this role, you'll design, build, and optimize software used to manage and enhance hardware platforms across a highly distributed, low-latency environment. Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications and trading systems in C++Build tooling, services, and infrastructure to support global hardware platformsOptimize system performance, reliability, and scalabilityPartner with hardware, networking, and infrastructure teams to improve operational efficiencyTroubleshoot complex production issues across distributed systemsContribute to architecture decisions and engineering best practices Requirements:Strong professional experience developing software in C++Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structuresExperience developing on Linux-based systemsStrong problem-solving and debugging skillsAbility to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced engineering environment Nice to Have:Experience with low-latency, high-performance, or systems-level developmentExposure to hardware, networking, operating systems, or infrastructure engineeringExperience within trading, financial services, or other performance-sensitive environmentsInterest in systems performance, infrastructure, or hardware accelerationExperience with Linux and performance-critical applicationsHardware, FPGA, or networking exposure is a plus, not required.
