About the role

The C-130J Pilot SME (Subject Matter Expert) is responsible for providing technical expertise and support to the C-130J fleet operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and support to pilots and maintenance personnel on C-130J aircraft systems and procedures.
• Conduct training sessions and develop instructional materials for new and existing operators.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve issues related to aircraft performance and safety.
• Stay updated with the latest technological advancements and integrate them into operational practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in C-130J operations or similar military aircraft.
• Active U.S. Air Force pilot certification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with aviation software tools.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel up to 25% as needed.

Pay

Salary range: $120,000 - $140,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work as required.
