Manage a team of C-12 A&P Mechanics performing organizational-level maintenance on Army C-12 / King Air (200/350/1900) aircraft. US Citizenship is required to obtain a US Govt Secret Security Clearance and for facility/base access.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate all aircraft inspections (special, conditional, phase, etc.) and monitor/document all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
  • Dispatch and monitor assigned tasks and jobs to work centers.
  • Work closely with the Operations Department to ensure aircraft availability meets the flight schedule.
  • Assist in documenting aircraft flight time and maintenance discrepancies.
  • Monitor the Amentum/MRO system to report all work performed; prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports supporting long-range maintenance requirements.
  • Track and document aircraft maintenance, including scheduled, unscheduled, TBOs, SBs, S.I.s, ADs, and maintain aircraft historical records and files.
  • Enforce compliance with Army Aviation Regulations, Policies, and Procedures, including AR 95-20 and FAA Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Verify Maintenance Action Documentation before submission to the US Army; collaborate with Program Regional Managers, Logistics, and CLS Transport PMO for timely data submission.
  • Train site employees in proper work methods, GOP procedures, and job duties.
  • Develop and monitor compliance of the Master Training Plan (MTP) database, ensuring personnel understand and follow GOP procedures.
  • Review Quality Management System (QMS) – QT9 to ensure site navigation and document access.
  • Review AMRO for aircraft status, calibrations, training, assembly trees, and logistics orders.
  • Ensure LGOP (Local General Operating Procedures) align with GOP procedures for local requirements.
  • Review and submit NRT requests in accordance with the PWS.
  • Monitor that all required maintenance is performed before flights.
  • Perform other qualified and related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in an associated discipline preferred).
  • Valid FAA A&P Certificate.
  • Five (5) years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience, with extensive knowledge of C-12/King Air Turboprop aircraft maintenance and material support.
  • Two (2) years of aviation maintenance supervisory experience.
  • Skills in operations, logistics, and resource management, with experience supervising daily flight operations personnel.
  • Strong planning/organizational skills and ability to work under deadlines.
  • Experience assigning program workloads and mechanic duties for multiple-shift operations.
  • Strong leadership skills to manage a large and diverse workforce; ability to communicate effectively at senior management levels.
  • Experience writing with clarity and technical accuracy.
  • Valid Driver’s license.
  • May require travel to support mission and operational requirements.
  • US Citizenship required for Secret Security Clearance and facility access.
  • Knowledgeable of DA PAM 738-751, FAA Federal Aviation Regulations, and basic supply procedures.
  • Working knowledge of applicable aircraft.

Pay

Salaried position at $120,000.00 per year.
