About the role
The Buyer provides direction in support of a customer service-focused, cost-effective, and centralized process for the acquisitions and delivery of supplies and services to support patients, clinical staff, and department personnel for PIH Health Enterprise.
Responsibilities
- Administer and direct programs to purchase materiel and supplies relative to Enterprise needs in accordance with policy 84000.700.
- Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to understand supply and service needs.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- 3 to 5 years purchasing experience in an acute care health facility
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Must obtain LA City Fire Card within 6 months of employment (PHGSH Only)
