Duties And Responsibilities

  • Creating, processing, and tracking purchase orders for materials and services, including but not limited to: Aircraft Parts and Components, Shop Supplies and Consumables, Tooling and Equipment, Vendor Services
  • Cooking with vendors to obtain quotes, confirm pricing, and ensure on-time delivery
  • Maintaining organized records of purchasing and receiving activities
  • Supporting inventory control through cycle counts and reconciliation efforts
  • Coordinating with accounting to reconcile invoices, packing slips, and purchase orders
  • Maintaining proper documentation, certification, and traceability of aviation parts (as applicable)
  • Accurately entering receiving data into company systems and updating inventory records
  • Managing returns, exchanges, and vendor discrepancies
  • Supporting maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to ensure material availability
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Basic to Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills
  • Strong Communication: Ability to work effectively with vendors and internal teams
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in purchasing, receiving, and documentation
  • Adaptability: Managing shifting priorities and supply chain challenges
  • Problem-Solving: Resolving discrepancies in orders, shipments, and invoices
  • Collaboration: Working cross-functionally with multiple departments
  • Time Management: Prioritizing purchasing and receiving activities effectively
  • Negotiation Skills: Ability to support cost-effective purchasing decisions
  • Organizational Skills: Maintaining structured procurement and receiving records

Skills And Abilities (Minimum)

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • A minimum of one to two years of experience in purchasing, receiving, warehouse, or supply chain operations preferred

Education And/or Experience

  • Familiarity with ERP systems, procurement software, or inventory management systems is preferred
  • Experience in aviation, manufacturing, or regulated environments is preferred

Preferred

  • Valid driver's license required
  • US citizenship required
