Buyer - Plant
Job Overview
As a Buyer in our manufacturing plant, you will help secure reliable supply, strengthen supplier partnerships, and contribute to efficient, cost-conscious purchasing processes.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of market analyses and the implementation of category strategies for the plant.
- Develop and execute profitable purchasing strategies and negotiation approaches in close alignment with relevant functions and stakeholders.
- Maintain continuous monitoring of the supply market and manage the supplier portfolio to ensure quality, cost efficiency, on-time delivery, sustainability, and compliance with contractual and legal requirements.
- Negotiate prices and conditions in line with internal purchasing guidelines and contractual requirements, and manage supplier contracts professionally.
- Carefully coordinate the assigned suppliers, including purchase price planning and the definition and tracking of saving initiatives that support plant performance.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Several years of professional experience in purchasing, procurement, or a comparable commercial role, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong negotiation skills and confidence in supplier management.
- Good command of English.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R.120.15 is required.
