Buyer Planner Manufacturing

Main Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing raw materials, packaging, and production supplies.
• Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts and inventory levels.
• Monitor inventory and ensure adequate stock without overages or shortages.
• Negotiate pricing and manage supplier performance.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to support operational goals.
• Supervise team members, provide coaching, and support employee development.
• Analyze purchasing and inventory data to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

What We Are Searching For

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Operations, or related field preferred.
• Experience in purchasing, production planning, supply chain, or manufacturing supervision.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Able to lead teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Food and beverage industry experience preferred.

Main Pay & Benefits
The salary rate is $80,000.00 to $120,000.00 annually. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation Pay (accrued based on hours worked) or Flexible Time Off, paid holidays (8–9 annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits such as 401(k) eligibility.
