Key Responsibilities
- Plans, schedules and monitors materials through the production cycle to ensure proper inventory levels.
- Performs the physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
- Locates sources for inventory and non-inventory items.
- Interacts with suppliers for on-time delivery scheduling.
- Works with multiple internal customers to facilitate corporate purchasing.
- Professionally places purchase orders for indirect (MRO, non-product) goods and services in support of business requirements.
- Supports finance and accounting on cost collection and inventory management for month-end process.
- Works closely with the Quality department to ensure all quality standards are being met.
- Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement that supports BSC's Quality Policy, Quality System and the appropriate regulations for the area supported.
- Ensures employees are trained to do their work and their training is documented.
Quality Systems Duties and Responsibilities
- Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
Qualifications
- 6 - 9 Years with BA, 4 - 7 Years with MBA
- Project management experience
- Independant self-starter
- Ability to pickup SAP among other software
- Experience using AI-powered tools (such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, or procurement AI platforms) to improve productivity and decision-making.
- Apply Lean or Six Sigma principles to procurement processes.
- Identify automation opportunities that reduce manual effort and improve data accuracy.
- Support digital transformation initiatives within Supply Chain.
