Responsibilities
- Purchase the material required for production including raw materials, machined parts, electronic components, tools, and other supplies.
- Develop relationships with suppliers, negotiate prices, and coordinates logistics.
- Initiates RFQ’s and onboards capable suppliers.
- Analyze part usage and sales forecasts to set up the appropriate planning policies in the company’s MRP system.
- Assists the Purchasing team with technical planning questions.
- Manages supply chain projects with limited supervision.
- Represent the Materials team in E
