Who we are looking for
We are seeking a Buyer Planner L2 to take ownership of material planning and purchasing in a fast-paced dynamic manufacturing environment. Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager, this high-impact role will empower you to own material availability and shortage resolution across multiple value streams ensuring production never stops. This role is 100% on site.

- Drive planning decisions using ERP/MRP systems to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations
- Manage supplier performance, resolve shortages proactively, and balance inventory with service requirements
- Lead cross-functional collaboration by partnering with Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Customer Service to meet business objectives
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks before they impact production
- Enhance planning and procurement processes to support our growing business
What you bring to the Team
- 5-7 years of experience in purchasing, planning, supply chain, or materials management within a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated experience utilizing ERP/MRP systems to manage planning and procurement activities
- Experience supporting manufacturing operations and production scheduling requirements
- Proven ability to manage suppliers, resolve shortages, and maintain supply continuity
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and drive issues to resolution with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Reads and understands complex written technical documents, proposals, business communications
- Speaks and writes fluently English and persuasively across different professional settings
- Tailors communication style for different audiences
- Able to edit and review others' written work for clarity, grammar, and tone
- Applies ratios, proportions, and basic algebra. Interprets charts, graphs, and simple data sets. Ability to use formulas for measurements, cost estimation, or budgeting
