About the role
Provides assistance with the order entry, preparation, and distribution of drug products under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. Does not perform duties that can be performed only by a registered pharmacist. Maintains appropriate inventory of drug supplies and a system of control to ensure the integrity of purchases, control of supplies, and proper accounting for their distribution.
Minimum qualifications
- Current Pharmacy Technician Certification required (PTCB, NHA, or equivalent)
- Registration as a Pharmacy Technician by the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy required
- Minimum five (5) years of pharmacy technician experience required
