About the role

Growing manufacturing company is looking for a Buyer for their Memphis facility. This role will focus on purchasing, supplier management, pricing, and ensuring materials are available to support manufacturing operations. We’re looking for an organized, detail‑oriented professional with strong purchasing and import experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive procurement strategies within established pricing frameworks.
• Secure competitive pricing, lead times, and minimum order quantities.
• Negotiate routine commercial terms with approved vendors.
• Work closely with management to identify opportunities for cost reduction, quality improvement, and increased efficiency.
• Manage supplier relationships and purchasing requirements.
• Coordinate material availability to support production and on‑time shipments.
• Monitor inventory, forecasts, and material usage as needed.
• Work within an ERP/MRP system.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Import experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of purchasing/procurement experience, preferably with some materials planning responsibilities.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office.
• Strong negotiation, organization, and supplier‑management skills.

Pay

Up to $90,000 plus outstanding benefits.
