Key Responsibilities
- Plans, schedules and monitors materials through the production cycle to ensure proper inventory levels.
- Performs the physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
- Locates sources for inventory and non-inventory items.
- Interacts with suppliers for on-time delivery scheduling.
- Works with multiple internal customers to facilitate corporate purchasing.
- Places purchase orders for indirect (MRO, non-product) goods and services in support of business requirements.
- Supports finance and accounting on cost collection and inventory management for month-end process.
- Supports the Quality department to ensure all quality standards are being met.
- Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement that supports the Quality Policy, Quality System, and relevant regulations.
- Trains employees on their work and documents the training.
Qualifications
- 6 - 9 Years with a Bachelor's Degree (BA)
- 4 - 7 Years with an MBA
- Project management experience
- Ability to pick up SAP and other software
- Experience using AI-powered tools (such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, or procurement AI platforms) to improve productivity and decision-making
- Apply Lean or Six Sigma principles to procurement processes
- Identify automation opportunities that reduce manual effort and improve data accuracy
- Support digital transformation initiatives within Supply Chain
