Buyer II Purchasing

About the role

To purchase assigned commodities and services at the appropriate quantity, price, quality and delivery, and to assure that all purchases are made in compliance with the applicable Policies and Procedures and health care requirements. Working conditions involve sitting extensively in meetings and behind a computer, attendance at inter-departmental meetings, and possible travel among CH organizations and sites. Requirements

• Associates degree required; Purchasing/Materials Management field preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Purchasing/Materials Management field preferred
• Minimum two (2) years experience in Purchasing/Materials Management
• Experience with Materials Management software system
• Demonstrated experience in cost saving achievements
• Healthcare experience preferred

Qualifications

• Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) certification preferred
