Provide technical and commercial support related to procurement activities, including supplier qualification, vendor management, and purchasing. Supports the procurement process by ensuring materials and services are sourced competitively, suppliers meet performance expectations, and purchases are delivered in accordance with project and operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintains relationship with vendors or suppliers and negotiates contracts for purchases.
• Supplier performance measurement and oversight.
• Purchases materials at the most favorable terms for the company by preparing Supplier Qualifications, Bid Lists, Requests for Quotation, Bid Evaluations, Purchase Recommendations, and Purchase Orders.
• Facilitate technical or commercial clarifications, negotiate terms, coordinate source inspection, and track purchases with suppliers.
• Ensure all changes to order cost and/or schedule are clearly communicated.
• Work is highly independent.
