About the role

HB Staffing is seeking a Buyer I (Aerospace Manufacturing) to join a growing and dynamic team in Cerritos, CA. The position is full‑time, onsite, day shift.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage purchase orders from requisition through order acknowledgment
• Prepare and run RFQs, review bids, and support cost analysis and price negotiations
• Support supplier forecasting, demand planning, and delivery schedules
• Track vendor performance and keep supplier records accurate and up to date
• Support inventory management and process Return Material Authorizations (RMAs)
• Communicate delivery issues and schedule changes clearly across departments
• Maintain purchasing documentation, including AS9100 documentation support
• Contribute to continuous improvement and KPI‑driven performance goals

Requirements

• 0–2 years of purchasing, procurement, supply chain, buying, or inventory experience (recent graduates with internship experience encouraged)

Skills

• Hands‑on experience with ERP/MRP systems (required)
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (required), plus proficiency in Word and Outlook
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Professional written and verbal communication skills

Pay

Fixed rate of $20/hour

Schedule

Day Shift, 6:00am to 2:30pm
