Duties (Most Important to Least Important)

  • Meet with clients to understand their boat-buying or selling needs.
  • Provide expert advice on market trends, boat types, and pricing.
  • Conduct thorough research to stay informed about market conditions, boat values, and emerging trends.
  • Analyze comparable sales to determine appropriate pricing for boats.
  • Negotiate terms and prices between buyers and sellers to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Handle offers, counteroffers, and final agreements professionally.
  • Organize and conduct boat showings and demonstrations for prospective buyers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with boat owners, dealers, and other industry professionals.
  • Utilize sales tools, including OneWater Buyer/Broker Processes and CRM.
  • Monitor the boat progression through service through inspection and delivery.
  • Provide exceptional service to clients throughout the buying or selling process.
  • Address any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Actively participates in Boat Shows, Store and Off-site sales and customer events.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Proven experience in boat brokerage, sales, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for market analysis and documentation.
