About the role

We are looking for a detailed person to join the Willis Knighton Health purchasing team. This person will act as an official buying agent for the institution and promote the most effective use of hospital funds in the acquisition of assigned products.

Responsibilities

• Plan for short- and long-range commodity objectives
• Develop purchasing arrangements, which are communicated to user departments
• Perform clerical duties, including processing of order acknowledgments from vendors
• Closing out/managing the purchase orders from start to end
• Act as a liaison with accounting to complete the purchase order life cycle
