About the Role
If you're organized, detail-oriented, and like managing multiple priorities at once, this role gives you real scope. As a Buyer, you'll own the end-to-end purchasing process, from creating purchase orders to building strong supplier relationships. Your work directly shapes how smoothly our operations run and how cost-effectively we source the materials that power our fiber optic products.
- Create, issue, and track purchase orders based on departmental needs, with accuracy in quantities, pricing, and delivery timelines
- Review and process purchase requisitions from internal departments, confirming specifications before order placement
- Monitor open purchase orders from placement through receipt, proactively identifying and resolving delays or discrepancies
- Maintain daily contact with suppliers to confirm orders, negotiate pricing, and keep on-time delivery commitments
- Update and maintain accurate records in the ERP system, including pricing, lead times, item specifications, and vendor information
- Coordinate with warehouse and receiving teams to reconcile deliveries and address shortages or damages promptly
What You'll Bring
- Have 1 to 3 years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience (a plus, but not required)
- Are familiar with ERP systems like NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle, with careful attention to detail
- Communicate clearly in writing and verbally with vendors and cross-functional teammates
- Are proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for tracking and reporting
- Can identify discrepancies, escalate issues appropriately, and resolve them promptly
- Work well across teams with warehouse, finance, and operations

$55,000 - $65,000 base, plus annual bonus
