About the role

Uptown Cheapskate is a buy, sell, trade fashion store for young adults. We carry thousands of mall and luxury brands at up to 80% off regular retail prices. We aim to make fashion more sustainable by giving life to gently used clothes that aren't being worn anymore.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of fashion - including style, trends, composition, and pricing
• Comfortable using appraisal software
• Strategic thinker who can selectively curate store selections to align with the purchasing habits of our primary demographics
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Select and price gently-used styles for our customers
• Stay up-to-date on current trends and pricing for our primary demographics
• Mercandise clothing
• Provide customer service
• Work with the store manager to keep the sales floor organized
• Registers and ringing transactions
