Responsibilities

• Create and release RFPs and RFQs using a 7-step sourcing process.
• Negotiate prices based on ideal cost levels using market intelligence.
• Facilitate purchases and coordinate activities for assigned commodities.
• Implement technological and process opportunities to stay ahead of competitors and improve operations.
• Build and strengthen supplier relationships through effective communication.
• Treat all suppliers fairly and ensure accurate records of pricing history.
• Forecast and validate the impact of price changes and document all changes accurately.
• Act as a liaison between departments to resolve supply issues within assigned commodities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in business, procurement, supply chain, or related field required.
• At least 2 years of sourcing experience in non-production commodities required.
• SAP Ariba experience preferred.
• Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) or CIPS Level 2 preferred.
