About the role

We are recruiting for a Buyer opportunity supporting procurement activities for complex spaceflight systems. Our team is looking for a candidate who can help ensure sourcing, contracting, and supplier management activities are executed efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with program priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage suppliers and internal stakeholders to support external development activities for spaceflight systems.
• Prepare and issue requests for proposal and requests for quote, perform price analyses, and support negotiation strategies.
• Develop and execute procurement agreements, including long-range procurement agreements and strategic sourcing partnerships.
• Oversee the procurement process from requisition creation through final invoice payment and resolve issues as they arise.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a similar field with at least 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, or a Master’s degree with 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management.
• Experience with procurement and supplier management.
• Knowledge and understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
• Experience negotiating and managing multiple contract types, including Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time and Material (T&M), and cost type (CPFF, CPIF).
• Strong analytical skills, data-driven approach, and experience establishing and tracking program metrics.
• Working understanding of AS9100 standards, engineering data such as specifications and source control drawings, and English language proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing.
