Buyer

Description

The Buyer reports to the Regional Replenishment Manager and is responsible for performing a variety of duties related to the replenishment process. The Buyer will insure sufficient inventory levels for assigned items and suppliers. The Buyer will execute daily PO’s, transfers and also work with Sourcing, Suppliers and Branch Management to ensure orders are managed and received in a timely manner. The Buyer will also work on other related purchasing functions as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent in related field is preferred
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working within a supply chain related role
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical ability and detailed oriented
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook
• Able to work in a team environment and be self-motivated
• Able to maintain good attendance
• Proficient in personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheets, etc
• Able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation
