Buyer

About the role

The Buyer is responsible for filling purchase orders, working alongside inventory management and other internal departments, forecasting sales by item, analyzing trends and inventory based on historical data, and monitoring sales performance. Responsibilities

• Filling purchase orders
• Working alongside inventory management and other internal departments
• Forecasting sales by item
• Analyzing trends and inventory based on historical data
• Monitoring sales performance
• Collaborating with the supply chain manager to maintain proper inventory levels of materials used regularly
• Organizing purchasing requisitions
• Participating in the development of an accurate and efficient monitoring system
• Entering data into databases or computerized systems to maintain up‑to‑date supplier and vendor information, track purchases and order/delivery status, and generate purchasing reports and statistics

Qualifications

• A university degree (Bachelor’s) or equivalent relevant work experience
• Team player able to work in a fast‑paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills – oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Holds self‑accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization, including suppliers and external customers

Pay

Base Salary Range: $70,304.00 - $103,200.00. The base salary range is a general guideline; final offers consider experience, qualifications, internal equity, market and business considerations.
