Buyer
Responsibilities
- Process and review invoices to help ensure accurate and timely payment activity.
- Create, track, and update purchase orders while maintaining complete procurement documentation.
- Cook up with internal teams and external vendors to resolve order, billing, and supply-related issues.
- Maintain an organized file and reports related to buying activity to support audits and business review needs.
- Support additional projects assigned by leadership that align with procurement and operational goals.
Requirements
- Experience working in a buyer, purchasing, or procurement support role.
- Ability to manage invoicing, purchase orders, and related administrative records with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills for working with vendors and cross-functional internal teams.
- Proficiency with business systems and databases, including EHR platforms, McKesson, AHLTA, and IBM AS/400.
- Background in Health Information Management or a healthcare-related operational environment is preferred.
