Essential Functions

• Review requisition orders for accuracy and verify availability from current inventory or sister companies' inventories.
• Source and obtain price quotations from catalogues and suppliers, prepare purchase orders, calculate costs, and charge or forward invoices to appropriate accounts.
• Process purchases within purchasing authority, contact suppliers for deliveries, resolve shortages, missed deliveries, and other issues, ensuring tracking numbers are obtained.
• Maintain inventory levels, compile inventory reports, record quantities, types, and values of materials, equipment, and stock on hand, and prepare requisition orders for replenishment.
• Maintain stock rotation, dispose of and account for outdated stock, reconcile physical inventories with computer counts, and manage purchasing variances due to price, quantity, timing, vendor invoice errors, and damaged items.
• Communicate with finance/AP to reconcile invoices, manage purchases against budgets and volume spending, maintain vendor relationships for best pricing and quotes, and communicate payment and contract needs with finance.
• Maintain training for other purchasers on operational needs and financial integrity, update purchasing coding and requirements from finance and corporate, and prepare purchasing and vendor reports including high-level analyses.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in Theatrical Lighting Business.
• 3 years with PRG preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Pay

The pay range for this position is estimated to be $75,000.00-80,000.00 annually. Actual salary to be determined by the experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant combined with location and alignment with market data.
