Position : Buyer Location : San Diego, CA Duration : 12 Months Contract Total Hours/week : 40.00 pay rate: $20-25/hr Description Responsible for identifying and procuring goods and services that the organization requires to keep the production lines running. Ensure optimal inventory levels. Working with stakeholders and peers (Sourcing, Quality, Material Coordinators, Planning, Transportation, Engineers, Finance) to ensure requests are fulfilled. Maintain supplier relationships and improve supplier performance (service, on-time delivery, quality, reconciliation of invoices, POs and documentation).
