Buyer

Responsibilities

• Identify and procure goods and services required for production lines.
• Ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained.
• Work with stakeholders and peers (Sourcing, Quality, Material Coordinators, Planning, Transportation, Engineers, Finance) to fulfill requests.
• Maintain supplier relationships and improve supplier performance in areas such as service, on-time delivery, quality, invoice reconciliation, purchase orders, and documentation.

Skills Required

• Ability to work with all types of personalities.
• Experience working with and communicating effectively with suppliers and stakeholders.
• A sense of urgency and the ability to take initiative.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills (presentation, interpersonal, written).
• SAP experience.
• MS Office proficiency.

• Experience in Metals and Packaging Commodities.
• Experience with Ultriva.
• Experience with SharePoint.
