About the role
Magnaflow is a leading manufacturer and supplier of premium automotive aftermarket products, including catalytic converters, performance exhaust, replacement exhaust, and race-inspired performance suspension products through the Camburg division. We are focused on future growth through new business development and product introduction.
Responsibilities
- Maintain real-time communication with suppliers and coordinate fulfillment of requirements from Production, R&D, and Marketing.
- Execute daily/weekly processes to review and maintain MRP-suggested inventory levels.
- Maintain data integrity and accuracy for purchased parts in the ERP system.
- Source new suppliers for new parts and services as needed.
- Search for suppliers offering better quality and/or lower costs for existing parts and services.
- Negotiate best price, quality, lead time, and service from suppliers.
- Generate and follow up on purchase orders until invoiced and closed.
- Take immediate action to resolve or avoid issues that could impede production or have a negative financial impact.
- Work with Engineering, Marketing, or Management to implement design changes or prepare for future requirements and new applications.
- Participate in the MagnaFlow supplier management program; visit suppliers to develop business relationships and seek opportunities to benefit MagnaFlow.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2-5+ years of relevant experience preferred.
- Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Strong command of Microsoft Application Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) and various PC applications.
- Strong work ethic and accountability-driven mindset.
- Less than 10% travel required.
- Automotive and/or manufacturing industry knowledge preferred.
Pay
Salary Range: $73,000–$89,500 USD annually. Final compensation will be based on factors including related experience, education, certifications, skills, and work location.
