Responsibilities
- Enter new purchase orders for direct shipment (drop ships) to our customers.
- Enter purchase orders for the manufacturing/AWT locations.
- Respond to inquiries regarding the status of purchase orders and resolve discrepancies such as quantity, order multiples, pricing or PID issues.
- Maintain direct ship purchase orders in Navision, including canceling, adjusting, and resenting as necessary.
- Address CRM activities and create and assign activities when required.
- Utilize Microsoft Office, Access, Navision, CRM, and the SRRS Report Server.
- Perform other duties as requested by Procurement Supervisor.
Qualifications
- High School degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of four years’ work experience in Logistics, Marketing, or Sales.
- A strong sense of customer service & urgency, and ability to consistently meet deadlines.
- The ability to communicate & negotiate effectively with suppliers.
- Able to communicate & write simple correspondence.
- Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the Company.
- Able to add and subtract 10-digit numbers, multiply and divide with tens and hundreds, and perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.
- Able to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form; ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Regularly required to talk and hear, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
- Close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus required.
Safety Duties & Responsibilities
- Adhere to, promote, and accept responsibility for compliance to Federal and Local Occupational Safety and Health Regulations, Industry Consensus Standards, and KGP Injury and Illness Prevention Program Manual.
- Participate in job site safety/hazard analysis.
