Position Responsibilities
- Develop a team of Outside Sales Representatives
- Drive the sale of packaging materials and related supplies within assigned selling areas
- Oversee product inventory, distribution, and administrative functions
- Research, evaluate, and buy supplies based on price, service, and quality
- Review the queue in Solar and place purchase orders
- Set up and maintain vendors in Solar
- Update all pricing in Solar
- Create and follow up with work orders for kitting projects
- Monitor and expedite purchase orders
- Track incoming inventory and move dates accordingly
- Communicate with Sales and Engineering departments with urgency and quick response time
Essential Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
- 2+ years of work-related experience
- Proficient in PC skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other systems
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Exceptional negotiation skills
