Buyer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Buyer to join our team. This role acts as the end-to-end purchasing facilitator, performing all procurement functions and maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform source selection review and documentation for compliance assurance
• Place and administer purchase orders/subcontracts
• Maintain compliant policies/procedures in accordance with DCMA and other regulatory authorities
• Build and review procurement packages for accuracy and completeness
• Review non-competitive award or sole source justifications, competitive bid packages, and commercial item determinations
• Conduct price or cost analysis for fair and reasonable pricing and negotiate terms and conditions
• Ensure compliance activities on behalf of the company's subcontractor and vendor base
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to modernize the purchasing process

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• 3+ years of related purchasing experience
• Experience with MS Office Suite
• Knowledge of FAR and DFAR
• The ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
